Overview

The Cannery Check is a time temperature indicator that provides a permanent record for batch retort processing in static canning operations. A smaller format indicator that provides a binary colour change from purple to green, with full transition occurring after 6 minutes approx at 121ºC.

An excellent and cost effective way for food processing facilities to incorporate visual indication of thermal processing of retort baskets as part of HACCP procedures in canning operations.

Details

The Cannery Check provides a permanent record of processing for batch retort processing. It is a smaller indicator for use in applications where cost is a factor. The indicator turns from purple to green when exposed to saturated steam for the prescribed time and temperature as shown in the selection chart. Cannery Checks are manufactured in accordance with FDA QSR and ISO 9002 in an FDA Quality Systems Registered facility.
